What does BTU mean?
Short for British Thermal Unit, BTUs measure the amount of energy needed to heat 1 pound of water by 1 degree Fahrenheit. As such, this number is essential for understanding how much power a given stove can produce.
For most camping stoves, at least 10,000 BTUs per burner is the baseline for reliable outdoor cooking. That level of output gives you enough heat to boil water efficiently.
Are Zempire Stove Carry Cases optional extras?
Yes, Zempire Stove Carry Cases are sold separately and tailored to the specific model of Zempire Camping Stove.
Can I take a Zempire Camping Stove backpacking?
It is not recommended, as Zempire Camping Stoves are designed to be used in car camping and cook larger meals for more campers.
What type of fuel do Zempire Camping Stoves use?
Check the 'fuel type' in the product specs above as we offer two different types:
- High Pressure Universal LPG or
- Propane Canister
For both types of stoves, fuel/gas is sold separately. Stove regulators to attach fuel source however are included.
How do i clean my Zempire Camping Stove?
Clean the body of your appliance using a cotton cloth soaked in warm soapy water. Never use abrasive or flammable cleaning products. Use a soft brush to clean the burner.
Do Zempire Camping Stoves come with a warranty?
Yes, a 3 year warranty.
