expert advice
What makes Zempire Air Tents different from traditional tents?
Zempire Air Tents feature inflatable air frames, allowing for a quick and hassle-free setup, unmatched durability, and superior comfort. Many Zempire air tents can be pitched and inflated by one person.
Are Zempire tents suitable for extreme weather conditions?
Our strongest air tents, which we have seen withstand cyclone conditions, are in our Air Canvas Series. Zempire air tents are more stable in windy conditions than traditional pole tents. However, camping in extreme weather conditions is not advised. All Zempire air tubes have incredibly high burst strengths, so it is very unlikely that an air tube would expand and burst in hot temperatures.
What add-ons can I get for Zempire Air Tents?
It depends on which Zempire air tent you have, but here's a quick overview:
- Shelter Links - to connect your air tent to an air shelter to create one combined, weatherproof setup.
- Footprints - to protect your tent floor and make packing away even easier.
- Heat Shield Covers/Liners - to reduce the internal temperature in warmer months and darken the interior.
- Awning Wall Sets - a two-piece set to provide covered or mesh awning extensions at the front of your tent awning.
- Sunrooms (Canvas Only) - a three-piece wall set with a floor that transforms your canvas tent awning area into another protected room.
How do I maintain and clean my Zempire tent?
- Ensure guy ropes are out at all times during use.
- Never pack your tent away wet. If you must take your tent down when wet, ensure that it is dried completely as soon as possible to prevent mildew from forming.
- If mildew does form on your tent, wash it off with warm water and a soft brush to prevent further growth. Do not use soap or detergents.
- Do not use an open flame inside your tent. The fabric has been treated with a fire retardant but is in no way fireproof.
- It is important that lower vents are opened at all times to reduce condensation. During humid or damp conditions, it is recommended that the waterproof door covers are opened to expose the mesh layer, enabling additional airflow throughout your tent.
- Do not use open-cell foam mats directly on the tent floor. This can cause condensation between the mat and floor, which may lead to mildew if it is not dried out.
Do Zempire tents come with a warranty?
They sure do. Your warranty period is determined by which tent series you have. See our Warranty Policy for specific product warranty information.
What makes Zempire Air Gazebos different from traditional gazebos?
Zempire Air Gazebos feature inflatable air frames for quick, hassle-free setup. They are also more stable in the wind than traditional gazebos. For the most part, Zempire gazebos are lighter than steel-frame alternatives and can be set up by one person.
Are Zempire Air Gazebos suitable for all weather conditions?
They’re 100% waterproof and have high waterhead ratings. Their main air frames also make Zempire Air Gazebos incredibly stable in strong winds without the risk of a pole snapping and tearing the fly. In gale-force or storm conditions, we recommend deflating and storing the shelters.
How do I inflate a Zempire Air Gazebo?
A manual pump is included with all Zempire Air Shelters and the inflation process usually takes under 2 minutes. You can also use an electric pump, but take care not to overinflate the air beams.
What do the stabilising brow poles do?
The Roadiebase is our only fully inflatable gazebo. The rest of our shelters use a hybrid design consisting of a main air frame & stabilising brow poles around the sides. These brow poles complete the structure and provide additional headroom.
Can Zempire Air Gazebos connect to Zempire Air Tents?
