EXPERT ADVICE

What's the difference between a Monstabed and Monstamat?

Monstabeds have two layers - an inflatable TPU coated air base and a Monstamat self-inflating foam upper. They combine the best of both worlds between a sleeping mat and an airbed at 42cm thickness.
Monstamats are self-inflating camping mats so are 10cm thick. These can be used directly on tent floors or on top of stretcher camp cots.

How do I pick between a camp bed or a mat?

If you have the space in your tent and want to sleep elevated then a camp bed is the way to go. Due to Monstabed's upper foam layer, they will block the cooler ground temps from reaching you unlike traditional airbeds.
Mats are perfect for sleeping pods with lower roofs, more portability and if you prefer using them on a stretcher camp cot.

Can I inflate a bed or mat with a manual pump?

Yes you can, however be careful not to over inflate to cause damage to the item. We recommend using a Zempire Monstapump for Zempire beds and mats. These can be used to top up or deflate your self-inflating mats but again, be careful not to over inflate.

Do Zempire mats and beds come with a warranty?

Yes. All Zempire Mats and Beds come with a 2 year Zempire warranty.
